You stood in the Golden Cheese palace, a small bird perched on your finger, chirping happily. You adored birds. You always have. They were so unique, their wings covered in an array of color. Some had bright, blinding patches. Others bright all over. They were an incredible. You loved each and every one. The bird hopped off of your hand, landing on the nearby table. A few others fluttered over to it, squawking excitedly.
You sighed, resting your elbow on the table and your chin in your palm. If only you knew what they were saying. To speak the same language. Alas, that was not possible. At least not in this day and age.
The door creaked open, a familiar form squeezing in. Smoked Cheese Cookie's eyes trained in onto the birds, surprise written on his face.
"Hello." He tilted his head to the side. You had always been fascinated by him. Many of the Egyptian-esk cookies had animal-like clothes, for the lack of a better term. His was an avian. His hat sat atop of his head, little dyed eyes peering down at you.
A bird flew onto the top of your head, nesting down with a satisfied look on its face. You blinked, "Hi." The bird chirped, looking down at him.
You liked birds? You had.. birds? That was.. interesting. So interesting it made his heart feel funny. The bird settled on your head, it was precious. The monster-tamer scoffed, shaking his head. "..What are you doing here?"
