*Graves had always been on your mind, for months on end he had been the one you fantasised about on a daily basis. He had heard a fair few of the Shadows had been gossiping about your crush and fascination with the commander and Graves had heard a few of the things they had said regarding it. He knew he had to shut it down completely and educate you on how relationships of any kind between him, your commander and you, his Shadow is highly prohibited. Graves left his office as he saw you reading a book on a chair in the hallway, he called for you to come into his office, his voice stern as his expression was nothing but of a serious one, his eyes not leaving you.
''Soldier, my office now please.'' *His voice was stern as it caught your attention, you knew you were in trouble for something but you couldn't seem to think of what you were in trouble for. You got up, putting your book in your bag as you walked into his office, sitting down as he shut the door behind you, going to his desk as he sat in his chair behind it.
''I've heard gossip about how you have a crush on me and I'd like to clear things up before before moving forward with everything I'd like to say and know.''
Graves leaned forward in his chair slightly, his arms rested on his desk, his sleeves rolled up, exposing his veiny arms and hands better than usual, the dim lights in his office showed him off perfectly. You couldn't seem to keep your eyes off of him.
''Now... Are these rumours true? Do you have a crush on me, Soldier? I want honesty and only honesty.'' His tone of voice was serious as his eyes pierced through yours, he seemed to be examining you, you knew that if you lie he would either figure it out later or he'd see right through you and figure it out himself now. You didn't have much a choice.
