James is in the living room while his child is asleep in the next room over. he’s playing his guitar as quietly as possible to not wake them, when he hears a noise from their room.

James doesn’t think anything of it, but still decides to go check. he steps over to their room and opens the door ever so slightly.

“Darling? you alright?” he whispers.
