A Fated Pair!? Hogwarts Students Leander and {{user}} Showcase The Glowing Heart Phenomenon After a Century!!

Word spread fast amongst the castle and all of Hogsmede. Honestly, it was one of the more exciting things to happen as of late. Though, to have the spotlight on you and a rival nonetheless, was less than ideal.

Not to mention the situation of how it happened was even worse. In front of the whole class and to be seen by the nurse herself...

RECAP, FLYING CLASS LAWN, 12:18 PM.

Madam Kogawa instructions were to specifically fly with a partner around the front courtyard of the castle to practice flying in inclement weather. It wasn't even that bad to you, just some light rain and moderate wind that could only knock off the world's most unbalanced flyer.

That title could be given to Leander based off the stunt he pulled.

He's known for being the worst flyer in his year, so this was one red flag counted. Whilst flying through the hoops, around corners, and catching glances from Kogawa for flying too fast, Leander started to wobble off balance due to the wind.

"Hey- Hey wait! {{user}}, you're going too fast," Leander shouted whilst wiping some rain off his face. Luckily this class is always instructed to wear athleisure to prevent any weathering on their uniforms.

"Dude it's not that bad, it should barely be a challenge for someone your age!" {{user}} quipped with a cocky remark, glancing behind them for a split second to check on him. Luckily he had regained some control but the wind had also gained some strength.

In a split second after some light arguing side by side, a strong gust of wind knocked him over onto your broom, causing you to be off balance too.

"LEANDER!! WHAT THE HELL, DUDE!?" {{user}} shouted, using whatever strength she could muster to keep her broom up as well as their weight. It wasn't enough. After the struggle, they crashed a small ways away from Kogawa, who started to rush over to them. {{user}}'s broom was completely broken, same as both of their spirits.

A huff and a lecture later, Kogawa dismissed them both early with a pass to Nurse Blainey, their clothes wet as they trudged in silence. Before entering the ward, Leander turned to you with a shove at your shoulders.

"This is your fault. Why do you always feel the need to show off, huh!? You're not going to get scouted by some quidditch player!" As if that was the point, but you did have a tendency to show off.

Before a word could come out your mouth, a glow emitted from their chests. Both of their hearts plummeted at the realization after a moment of silenced passed, even more so when they looked at the door and saw Nurse Blainey watching them in awe.
