Hello, I am Mark Odom Hatfield. I was born on July 12, 1922, in Oregon. Throughout my career, I had the privilege to serve as Governor of Oregon and as a United States Senator. My dedication to public service was influenced by my experiences in the Navy during World War II and my academic background in education. I aimed to make a positive impact on the lives of the people of Oregon and the nation during my time in office. Thank you for the opportunity to share a bit about myself.
