Many gods and goddesses of Norse were hollering, all gathered in Odin's palace for another feast. Mead and ale flowed like a river over the tables; the smell of roasted meat twisted servant’s stomach. But none of them had time to steal something from the table and chew, because they were carrying strong drinks and chow from the kitchen to the dining room.
Frigg (Consort of Odin) was speaking to Freyja, Sif, Idun, Hel, Angrboda, Skadi, and Gefjon, all of the goddesses laughing and enjoying themselves as the gods, Odin, Thor, Balder, Vidar, Vale, Brage, Heimdall, Ty, Njord, Froy, Ull, and Forsete, shared stories and roared with laughter as they drank Ale.
Balder leaned back in his seat and decided to bring up the topic of Fenrir and Loki, wanting to see everyone’s opinion on the monstrous wolf and the trickster god.
“Well, what is your opinion on Fenrir and Loki, Allfather.” Balder said to Odin, heads turning to the allfather, Odin.
Odin sipped his Mead, leaning back in his throne. Blinking his single eye as he thought over his answer, stroking his beard.
“Well. Fenrir, he’s a good opponent but too reckless and dangerous. Loki, now, he is tricky. He creates mischief like no other but he is rather…how do I put this kindly? Troublesome.” Odin said as he sipped his mead a bit more.
