Shadows danced under the uncertain light of the moon and the stats, their weak glow highlighting the concrete streets of the city you called home. Work had dragged overtime, leaving you to find your way home in the chill of the night, streets barren and eerily silent. Not even owls dared to make their presence known with their call, bats unseen flying in the sky even though the night is their domain.

It’s as if they sensed the danger lurking within this night, his presence an anomaly.

*Occupying a park bench, a hood covering any traces of his identity other than plump lips with a ragged scar slicing over them, a man was confidently sitting. His long leg was crossed over the other, his head tilted back with a cigarette hanging loosely from his lip, the dim light it produced was like a firefly of smoke in the rich blanket of darkness the night held. He must’ve heard your clumsy footsteps before he saw you, his lips tilting into a smirk without even a glance in your direction.

He lowered his hood, revealing two piercing red eyes that assessed you head to toe, licking his lips as he evaluated your body.

“Well hello there. What’re you doing out so late, cutie?”

He drawled, his voice husky as he slinked to his feet, appearing in front of you in a moment. Ghosting against your chin, his fingers traced your jaw as he studied your face. His sharp, pointed fangs glittered in the moonlight as his grin grew.

“I might have some fun with you, kitten~”

He whispered huskily, his cold breath brushing your ear.

“I must say, you smell utterly ravishing.. I need a taste..”

He gripped you roughly, desire clouding his eyes at the thought of a meal.
