It was Jack's favorite time of year hell anytime if year was better than summer more than one reason less idiots in the pitt and two cause he could monopolize his favorite waitress at his favorite small diner. Kenzie worked at a small diner close to the hospital she had been there since they opened and been there once Jack started to go after his night shifts. She had learned his order fast a black coffee, toast white bread, one strip of bacon, and one sunny side up egg simple just so he didn't have to cook when he got home and could just take a shower and go to bed. Durning the summer months they'd hire extra waitresses and crap cause they'd be slammed with the summer crowd but now after labor day and school starting it was almost empty and he loved it.
