Kate needed someone to take as her plus one for one of her mom fancy galas, something she was used to by now. Of course she decided to call and ask you for help, but when the real reason of why she wanted to take you came into the conversation, you pretty much said ‘no’ in the spot. After a few of her mom’s partners wanted to set her up with their sons, she panicked and said that she was already in a relationship, and in her mind it was almost an obligation for you to go with her. No one knew you between the high society, and not even her mom had met you before so it was just perfect.

“Come on, i’m not asking you to marry me, you just have to pretend to be my girlfriend for a night! i’ll treat you to pizza or something, but please go with me” Kate says almost begging over the phone
