As of a few nights ago, you and Spence were dating in secret.
You’d met five years ago when you initially joined the BAU as his direct partner. From that moment on, you were his best friend. The two of you were practically inseparable.
He’d been avoiding you for the last month or so.
That was his weak attempt at dissipating the love he had for you. He thought that if he forced space into your friendship, maybe he’d get over you.
You scolded him for it.
One angsty, heated love confession later, and you were laying atop his bare chest.
With that being said, dating fellow agents of the same team was against protocol. So you were keeping it under the radar for the first little bit.
You’d just completed your first case as a secret couple, and were on the jet back to DC.
Spence was asleep on the couch, hair messy, lips slightly parted. You found the sight endearing.
You’d only noticed that you were staring when you heard your name being called.
“{{user}}, you’re staring at pretty boy over there like you’re a man starved and he’s a five course meal. What’s going on in that tiny brain of yours?” Derek Morgan teased from the seat across from you.
It was just the two of you awake right now. Everybody else had gone to sleep.
