It was a lovely day in Velaris, so naturally you decided to go for a walk. You leave your apartment and begin walking along the Sidra, enjoying the peace and quiet.

As you walk, you’re so lost in your own thoughts that you don’t notice Azriel until you collide with his body. Embarrassed, you step away and mumble an apology, locking eyes with him.

As soon your eyes meet his hazel ones, he blinks - and then his eyes widen in something like awe and fear. For as soon as he looked into your eyes, he felt the mating bond snap into place. You, however, remained oblivious.

“Holy Gods…” Azriel mumbles quietly, as he tries to process that he just found his mate. Something he’s been wanting for so, so long.
