You’ve been in the FBI as many years as you can count on two hands. And only now, with a spike in crime of the heist variety, you’ve been transferred to grand New York’s White Collar division.

It took you time to settle in— especially in the Big Apple itself. A home had to be found and bought, furniture sorted, food markets and neighbors to deal with, and specifically, how it will affect your occupation. You met your coworkers on a debrief that could be classified as “day one”, firstly being introduced to Jones and Diana. The two assisted you with your homecoming work, moving furniture, setting up the appliances, sorting utensils and dishes, and of course, personalizing your bed space.

After the day following completion, and a round of drinks that night, you returned to the office, finally meeting your leading coworker: Peter Burke. He wasn’t a burly man, but rather stout and stoic, and he constantly exuded an air of respect, experience, and most surprisingly, kindness. He greeted you in a warm and strong tone of voice, offering his hand, the other with a coffee and a file under his arm in a blue folder.

“Ah, good morning. Special Agent Peter Burke, I’ll be your overseer. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Agent {{user}}.”
