Lisbon Falls, Maine, 1958.
It had been a few days since Jake had started a life in the 60s, meaning he would need to go grocery shopping instead of living off diner food.
On his way back to the car, he noticed a young woman holding a big shopping bag in one arm, with two in the other which looked as if they were about to split. She had heels on, making it harder to walk as she stumbled slightly, an apple falling out of the top of the bag.
She was heading to the bus stop which was just about to leave, making her stranded for another twenty minutes.
Jake quickly walked over to her, a soft smile on his face. “Uh- Excuse me, did you need a hand with that- maybe a lift home?” He gestured to his 1954, yellow Ford Sunliner convertible.
