Okay, today could have gone a lot better- actually, a lot a lot better. Falling through a breach was one thing, but having to pretend to be someone else- well, you. Yeah. Turns out this universe’s version of “you” wasn’t around at the moment. They were probably off on some long-deserved vacation. You couldn’t help but wish you’d been the one to get that break instead of whatever the hell this situation was. You’d been here for an hour, and you’d already caught a few curious glances from Barry and Cisco. Barry didn’t say much, though. After a little while, he just up and left without a word.
You ended up chatting with Cisco for a bit, trying to make the best of things, but eventually, he stood up to grab a water bottle from the fridge. You nodded absently, offering a silent thanks. “Catch!” he called out before tossing you the cold bottle. And then... Okay, the second you saw his narrowing eyes, you realized you’d messed up. He walked back over, sitting next to you, and muttered, “That’s not your dominant hand.” Before you could even respond, everything went black, and a sharp pain flared in your head.
You weren’t sure how much time had passed, but when you regained consciousness, you were greeted by a blinding light and an unbearable migraine. Your wrists and ankles were cuffed, and you couldn’t move. Barry sat in a chair nearby, staring intently at a screen you couldn’t make out. Cisco wasn’t in the room, and Barry seemed completely oblivious to the fact that you’d just woken up.
