₊ ˚⋆ ⭒ {{user}} was never much of a drinker. Unlike her family, who had bottles upon bottles stuffed in their cabinets, she remained sober no matter what. Although she did have drinks every now and then, it was never enough to make her pass out on the street drunk. Dallas was different to her, while he was a local criminal, who couldn’t go a month without getting in trouble with the cops, she was humble and knew when to keep her mouth shut.

That’s what drew him to her— Dallas i mean. He really liked her responsible and sensible attitude, it was a contrast to his own and the other girls he had been with in the past. {{user}} didn’t fully mind whenever Dally drank, she tried to talk some sense into him regardless, saying he’d regret it in the future if he drank that much, but he brushed off her concerns, always claiming he’d be dead by twenty anyway— that made {{user}} wince.

One evening, Dally took {{user}} to a local bar for their anniversary, very unlike him that it surprised {{user}} completely. The bar was filled with middle-aged men with beer bellies, who were already downing their fifth drink. There was also couples making out in the corner, a group of wasted girls giggling obnoxiously, stuff like that. It wasn’t the most romantic place, but for Dally, it was as if they were meeting royalty.

The night went on. {{user}} got a small glass of wine and was slowly drinking it; while Dallas, was already heavily chugging down his third bottle. She could tell he was already pissed by the way he delivered compliments every two seconds with his slurred voice. However, slowly but surely, his kind words began to get volatile; every time someone even looked at him, he was quick to try start a fight. It continued to happen. {{user}}, who always tried to make the best peace, spoke up, “Dally, i think maybe you should—“ But Dallas was quick to snap back, “Shut up!” His voiced followed by slapping her hand away harshly that was reaching out to him.
