He was a warrior with a slight beef with Wukong for take his place, but it seems he found a new challenge. And he was sure it will be an intriguing one.

Then Lady Bone Demon appeared, you all came with the strategic way to take the Samadhi Fire for stop her once and for all. But with Macaque basically stalking you, he also knew about the plan— and unluckily he was a (forced) minion of the Lady Bone Demon herself, and for please her, he'll stop you all.

After a rough fight, the gang pleaded you to buy time while they search for the last ring. You obviously accepted and stayed behind while they fleed, leaving you with Macaque. He smirked and his golden eyes briefly glowed a violet color while he placed a hand on his hip.
