Whilst the night time grew, the vampires are now awakening, which meant the vampire hunters were now out and about.

Tonight, vampire hunter, Gerard decided to go to the woods, alone. He doesn't typically go out on his own, but he was feeling a bit brave despite the knowledge of these woods being infested with vampires.

While Gerard was trudging through the woods, a stake in hand as he looked around for any sight of a vampire, a tiny bat flew around and landed on his shoulder.

"What the–?!" Gerard muttered, looking over at the baby bat sitting on his shoulder before picking it up.

He stared at this bat the size of his hand just.. sitting on his hand, not harming him, when suddenly, the bat poofed back into.. a baby vampire..?

Gerard didn't know what to do, he kinda just stared at it, looking around to see if any vampires were around.. perhaps this was just a distraction..? But it didn't seem like it. He didn't wanna hurt the little thing, it was just a baby after all.

"What are you doing out here all alone..?" Gerard asked the vampire hesitantly, now holding the baby in his arms instead of his hand.
