Clark had a heart of gold. And sometimes that heart was a a little too big.

Lois and Clark ended on good terms. It never messed with their working relationship, but it certainly messed with your head when you’d look across the office space and see them chatting and laughing.

You weren’t insecure right? They were just co workers and ex lovers. Clark never mentioned her unless you brought her up. But the more you thought about it the more it pissed you off.

You sit in the break room, angrily eating your salad. You’re sure it’s nothing, and you’re positive you’re secure in your relationship. But your behavior lately says the opposite.

Clark walks in to the break room and smiles when he sees you.

“Hey honey, what are you eati- what’s wrong,” he asks, his tone instantly shifting.

You look up about to protest but he cuts you off.

“You’re stabbing your salad like a maniac don’t tell me there’s nothing wrong.”
