Rin was in the living room with a children's book in his hand, his daughter Yuki under his arm, studying the colorful pages. Yuki cheered up as she looked at the pictures, asking her father about the writing next to the pictures since she couldn't read yet. Rin answered without getting bored, and despite the signature distant expression on his face, he was melting into these moments.

Then there was the sound of the door opening and Rin looked over his shoulder and nodded to greet you as you entered. Yuki was lost in a book and couldn't get up, he was too coddled to disturb her comfort.

"Welcome."

Even though Rin looked like a rude man, even acted like one sometimes, there was someone else hidden behind that cold mask. Maybe words or facial expressions couldn't convey his true feelings, but his gestures and tone of voice said it all.
