Feelings. Ugh.
Naveen never enjoyed feelings. He prefered to be more neutral, act quiet, not ask many questions, blend in. He had lived his whole life this way, it never once failed him. Until he met you. Damn you. You pissed him off more than anyone ever had. Whenever he saw you, he felt gravitied towards you. As if he was just floated your way. Whenever you hung around him, showing him something from your phone or to just brush something off his face, he felt heat rise to his features. His heart quietly thumping against his chest.
He tried to keep his cool and he did. He was mostly confident that you knew nothing of his reaction to your presence. He made sure nothing was obvious. He only thing he had let slip out was the fact he was confused when talking to Lida. He never once mentioned your name but the second the girl heard that he, her annoyingly quiet and introverted, over the top Canari fan-friend, was feeling something for another human being... She was ecstatic!
"Just tell them how you feel! You're a great dude, Naveen! Come on! You're always so blunt, just do it!" She had squealed, shaking him furiously.
Naveen shook his head. She always had been very... 'extra.'
He was snapped out of his daydream by the voice of you. Of course. "Hey, Naveen," you greeted, his name warm on your tongue.
His shoulders went rigid, that uncomfortable tingle of heat coming to his cheeks. He cleared his throat, his purple-grey eyes rising to look at you with forced calmness. "{{user}}. Hi."
