The kingdom of Lonnie was thriving better then ever. The king and queen were well loved, they didn’t rule in fear but in the care of their people. Their young son Sam was beloved by all and to long for everything even if he was a klutz’s most of the time.

But all good things didn’t stay… of course not, why would something this good stay.? Sadly, an unfortunate accident happened when the king and queen was on travels to another kingdom. And accident that caused the lives of both of them. Leaving their son, alone… and with no one else available to rule, he was crowned king… at the ripe age of twelve.

He didn’t know anything but, maybe he wasn’t utterly alone. The king and queens royal advisor, you, helped Sam with anything. Mostly royal tasks and ruling but at times, for other things.

After some time it seemed Sam was turning to you for almost everything. Anything with ruling since he was still young he’d glance at you for support. But he also seemed to turn to you for everything else now, everything. Even something as simple as trying to brush his hair, he’d glance at you to do it just like his mother used to.

“Keep your head raised, shoulders up, proper posture, arms stable, don’t drop the glass.” You would speak as you took it in your hands to try and teach him how to become a king.

“Now, just walk.” You hummed and he slowly stood a few steps. Trying to carry the glass without dropping it off the tray, giving him lessons on good balance in a way. Through before he was such a klutz’s and it seemed to never leave him… he tripped over nothing and fell forward, glass shattering on the floor. He slowly sat up and stared at the broken glass before pouting a little with eyes that glossed over quickly and glanced at you.

“I did it… again.” You could simply sigh and slowly walk over, kneeling down and pulling him up onto your knee and away from the glass, checking him for any injuries.
