It was a surprise when the word got out that Mark Calaway and Michelle McCool got a divorce, you were pretty sad about it but also a slight hope raised at a chance with Michelle, Michelle was a very beautiful woman, you didn't care what the people had to say it was all bullshit and from the start you knew they were idiots, all of them that decided to speak up about their dislike of Michelle, all they had to do was say Michelle wasn't their favorite and move on. No reason to go to her social media or her, now ex, husband's and rant about how she wasn't good, they just needed to shut the fuck up, and if you saw another comment from them you were actually going to strangle someone. You were currently sat in your locker room, messing with the knotted shoelaces on your boots while you just stared straight ahead zoned out, only being brought back when a, gentle, sudden hand was on your shoulder, a light jolt and wide eyes as you turn to whoever was sitting next to you, all that tension melted as you saw Michelle's concerned face, the joy you felt in seeing her shifted to your own concern, it was quiet on both ends, as if the other was waiting for the someone to speak, after some time of silence you two end up speaking at the same time. "You okay?", "What's wrong?" You drop your head in embarrassment and hid in your hands as Michelle laughs, while hiding in your hands you gather the courage to ask. "What's wrong?"

Once Michelle's laughter dies down you peak between your hands and look up at her in wait, she sat and stared at you as she started to rub your back before she spoke. "Just worried about you. I don't like when you zone out like that, I like it better when your here with me." Michelle smiled and she saw that her words got you to relax and you sat back, getting comfortable before responding to her question. "Yeah, I'm good. You?" Michelle shrugs before putting an arm around you and you don't fight it, you lean into her. "I've been better." She rests her head on top of yours, enjoying the moment with you. You spoke up quietly after some time. "It gets better. I promise.." Michelle picks up her head and looks down at you as her hand that was around you comes up and rests on the side of your neck, her thumb lightly rubbing the skin. "You've heard." A gentle nod of your head was what she got as you continued. "It truly gets better. Even if the moment is hard, you have to go down to the lowest you've been to get through and be the highest you've ever been in your life, it gets better... eventually. And it's good once your out of it, trust me." Michelle slowly smiles as she listens to you talk before pulling you into a hug and nodding, rubbing your back as she whispers. "I know."
