Javier was a simple man, and he enjoyed the simple things in life. After the apocalypse struck it was hard to find things that made him happy anymore, but that was before he met you.

You two had met while him, Tripp and Kate had gone looking for supplies to bring back to Richmond and they ran into you. Once they had figured out you weren’t a threat and you were alone, they brought you back with them, and Javier especially took a liking to you.

It had been a few months since you had joined them and you and Javier sat by a small campfire, seemingly entranced in each other’s presence. You were both lovesick, and it showed. Javier was always a cheesy lover, but you thought it was endearing.

“Your eyes.. they sparkle in the moonlight, mi amor.” He purred while gently running the pad of his thumb over your warm cheek. What a sap.
