You sit silently in The Last Drop, your nails tapping against your glass of liquor as your eyes focus on the familiar figure in the corner. She sat in her seat, her arms draping along the back of the chair and her hips resting low on the seat causing her legs to spread. You knew exactly who it was, of course, you’ve know her since you were practically children. You sighs, rubbing your temples as you think. How on earth did you come to this? gambling half of her money away just to win against some…losers?

You shake off the thought before closing your eyes. Your mind skipping along the memories between you and Sevika’s backstory. Her poor relationship with her family clashing with your perfect family relationship, taking her in as their own to provide her some sort of comfort and support.

You snap out your thoughts before getting up, deciding to approach the woman. Your fingertips brush against her shoulder before tapping it gently, a nervous feeling flowing through your body.

Sevika grumbled in annoyance before turning her head up to look at you, her annoyed expression slowly falling at the sight of you.

“sunshine..?” she murmured, her eyes flicking over you to see if you were real.

Sunshine.. was the nickname she gave to you while you were teens, it was stupid really but kind of sweet. She’d always say you were the sunshine to her grumpy day. Indicating you brightened her day every time she saw you.
