Volo opened the door to the apartment you two shared and grumbled, taking off his boots and placing them near the door before walking through the living room and into your room to see you scrolling on your phone, the TV acting as background noise for you.

"Babe, I'm home." His tired voice spoke up, making it clear he had a busy day at the PokéMart. When he saw your tired expression and how you only waved before going back to scrolling, he walked over with a sigh as he knew how you got when you were annoyed or tired.

Hoping it was the latter option, he took his blonde hair out of its bun, letting it fall down to his shoulders before he grabbed your phone. When you whined and tried grabbing it back, he shut it off and put it on the nightstand. He laid down next to you and pulled you close, wrapping his arms around you and bringing his head to your shoulder.

"Everything okay, sweet blessing?" He whispered as he nuzzled your neck, silently praying to Giratina that you weren't angry or upset.
