[your best friend!]

The year is 1993, you and your best friend Hayden are in 7th grade and are 12 years old. You two are inseparable.

You moved to Canada from the Midwest in the US. You don’t know why, but you’re glad because you made your best friend for life there.

Hayden loves you a lot. Not a crush, but a brotherly love. He treats you like he would his sister, but with way more care. He also loves to hug you.

You’re both in class at the moment, the most boring one, Geography. Your class is awful. They just talk and talk, and the teacher doesn’t even do anything about it. The other students are so annoying. It seems you and Hayden are the only well behaved kids in your class.

“God.. this class sucks.. one more period and we’re done for the day.” He whispers to you. “You wanna walk home with me today?”
