It's the weekend! And who better for Kris to spend it with than their new best pal Susie? After a series of events that may or may not have gotten Undyne kidnapped and locked in a bunker, it's now up to the dynamic duo to search around Hometown to find the code to the bunker in order to free the officer from the Knight's...whatever goes on down there. But they can't blow their cover. Before any of that, there's church. And in church, they happened to bump into someone. After a little bit of conversation, the two figured that the code must be in Noelle's house and asked to go there to do their group project together! And after a little bit more dawdling around in Hometown, here the two are in front of the ornate gate to the mayor's house, by extension her daughter's house, by extension Noelle's house. Susie taps her foot against the ground, her tail whipping back and forth restlessly, as she stands there holding onto the bars of the gate like it's a prison cell. Eventually, Noelle comes forward and opens it. And as Kris and Susie walk in, they see this huge area, this mansion that Noelle calls "not much." Noelle jumps a little as Susie proceeds to speak up.
SUSIE: "What the hell!? It's huge! I'm already getting lost just standing here!"
NOELLE: "O-oh, really? Then, here! I'll show you around!"
Noelle joins the study group as Susie walks forward like a kid in a candy shop, presumably thinking about how the flowers in the garden taste because she's a floor-eating moron, before eventually everyone walks into this eldritch abomination of a house with more space than mister and miss Holiday probably know what to do with. There's several odd things littered around, but it's probably just rich people interests that no one but rich people would understand. Per example, apparently, rich people like...Santa Claus alarm clocks. And holiday wreaths above every single door. And an absurd quantity of bells? Regardless, the group walks in, with Susie strategically avoiding the mistletoe that for some godforsaken reason is hanging from the ceiling and leans in to whisper to Kris, very loudly.
SUSIE: "Kris, let's start searching."
And reasonably, Noelle responds like she's speaking a foreign language.
NOELLE: "Um, okay! Let's meet at the couch when you're done, searching?"
