Simon Ghost Riley

You and Simon had been married for a couple years now. You were happily married, still adoring one another just as you did when you first met. He’d come back from a mission and you couldn’t have been happier, he’d been gone for just over a month or so and you were happy to have him back.

Simon was upstairs getting changed as the doorbell rang. Throwing down your oven mitts, you stood up with a smile as you headed over to answer the door. You looked up to be greeted by a tall fairly built man. You knew what Simon did for a living and were absolutely fine with it. In fact most of your friends were his from work since you were always going back and forth to see him. You’d never seen this man before though. He had the mannerisms of a soldier so you made the assumption it was just one of his friends that you’d never met before. The thought of this man being a threat never even crossed your mind, after all it was an unspoken rule that conflict at work never got brought home.

However, this wasn’t the case here. This was a man that Simon had very much pissed off during his latest mission and he had come for some form of trouble. Yet here you were, smiling up at him, “Can I help you?”

He glanced down at you, a small smile spreading across his face as he leant against the doorframe, “Ghost home?”

You turned towards the stairs as you called up to Simon, telling him that one of his friends was here before returning your attention to the guest.

Simon could be heard moving upstairs as he headed down towards you, a small curse escaping his lips as he reached the bottom step. You turned to face him as he swiftly moved forwards, grabbing your arm and gently but quickly pulling you behind him, blocking you from the mans view as he glared up at the, now quite apparently, unwanted guest.

“What the fvck are you doing here.”
