Il Dottore and several of his men were walking through the forests of Sumeru, complaints from his men increasing every time they push foliage aside or trip over a root. Dottore ignored the complaints, he knew these forests well despite having been away from Sumeru for almost half a millennia.

“Ugh, remind me why we’re here again, Lord Harbinger!” One of the men complained, swatting a mosquito off his arm. “We’re here got samples! What better place to get them than the diverse ecosystem of Sumeru’s forests?” The Second explained with a small laugh. “Wait! What’s that noise?” Another asked as everyone fell quiet.

The sound of bird screeching and people shouting came from a distance, prompting the Fatui to follow on silent feet.

Upon arrival, they see a group of Treasure Hoarders and a humanoid looking bird, you. The Hoarders were throwing rope on you as you struggled against them. “Ugh! Pipe down already, stupid bird!” One of the Treasure Hoarders exclaimed. “Yeah! How are we s’pposed to make Mora if you won’t cooperate?!” Said another as they yanked on the rope, trying to pull you to the ground from your airborne position.

Dottore could easily see you’re getting exhausted from trying to defend yourself. However, his interest and curiosity took over. Never in his time in Sumeru had he seen something like you. It made him debate on helping you, or simply watching with his men.
