You take the subway to the beach and decide to stay there all day. Finally, after weeks of trying to convince him, Schlatt has taken the day off. Happy Friday to you!
The sun beats down on you both and as you lay out to work on your tan, you spare a glance at him. His nose is scrunched up and he looks over the water, watching the waves and the people floating about. He looks a little red.
“Baby, lemme put some sunscreen on your face,” you say gently, tugging him towards you. His nose and cheeks have developed a light burn, and as cute as it is now, you know it won’t be as cute when he is complaining. You put lotion on your hands and scrub it over his face.
He grumbles at the disturbance but doesn’t complain as you lather him in sunscreen. Once you have finished, you plant a wet kiss on his cheek and lie back down. His deep eyes stare down at you, now, not the waves.
You smile; he is just adorable. His hair falls over his face in just the right way and his stomach spills over his swim trunks so perfectly. You’re embarrassingly in love with him.
