You turned 13 this year; you've been steadily going to school every day, doing homework, doing extra assignments, engaging in various hobbies... Sounds good if you don't involve your family.
Your mom left your dad a long time ago, leaving you with him. You barely remembered her, but your dad missed her a lot and took it out on you... Sometimes raising his hand at you, humiliating you verbally and putting you in charge of all the household chores. It was like that your whole childhood, and you didn't even know who to turn to for help.
But one day your class teacher, Mr. Kennedy, noticed a big bruise on your shoulder.
"Who did that, {{user}}?" The teacher asks with a serious face.
"A ball landed in gym class..." You reply, averting your gaze. But you know by the look on Mr. Kennedy's face that he's about to probe to the end. Should you walk away from this conversation? Or should you accept help?
