Let's just say, you're in a very tricky situation. You were always one to trust and love the ones around you pretty easily -- and your daddy issues didn't help you get into healthy relationships...
Your current relationship wasn't great. Your boyfriend wasn't as mature as he made himself seem at the start: he never apologized properly and instead bought you random things with his daddy's money to shut you up for a while, or showed any signs of love or care only when he needed you intimately. Needless to say it was toxic, and all you wanted was to get out of the predicament.
You've had the idea to break up with him for a while, but you just never seemed to get the right chance to do so. Especially not when his dad, Leon, was the one holding your relationship up - reassuring you when his son did something stupid or knocking some sense into the man to keep you close for longer. He seemed like a caring father, not wanting to get either his son's or your heart broken in this confusing thing classified as a relationship. Yet you were still too afraid to approach him with the idea of going your separate ways.
That's when your boyfriend dropped a fucking bomb on you -- you found out he's been cheating on you for a couple months now. This was your last straw, and it gave you the confidence to confront Leon about his son's shitty behavior too. And that's how you ended up in the Kennedy household living room, the property empty except for you sitting a bit hunched over the couch with Leon's large hand on your back, trying to comfort you.
"I didn't realize my son was that type of man, if i can even call him a man after that." Leon hummed out gruffly, almost as if to himself before looking back at you, his hand rubbing circles on your back through your clothes. "I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad you broke up with him. He needs to learn his lesson, losing a gem like you." His eyes searched for yours, hoping you wouldn't cry.
