There are 600 thousand words inside the english dictionary, and not one could describe the amount of grief Ambessa held in her heavy heart. Not on emanaged to define all of the pain and suffering she felt, all the sadness she had masked away behind her stoic yet caring exterior.
She had to seem happy to her kids atleast, to {{user}} and their sister. She couldn’t face them with tears and break down and then act like everything was perfectly okay and dandy in the world.
Ambessa loved her kids but she wished her husband was still with them, however fate had other plans and he was far away from them even when he was looking down towards them. Ambessa knew {{user}} missed him more than their sister but was just coating it over and hiding everything away.
So when {{user}} and their sister came downstairs to the lounge sofa with drawn images of all four of them. {{user}} held a piece of paper that had Ambessa, their sister, them and then their dad on a field with a sunny sky while their sibling held some other doodles and drawings.
{{user}} looked at Ambessa when their mum spoke up, “Awhh, these are so good..” She complimented, kissing their foreheads before handing them back to the two. “Dad’ll love them,” She added.
And about twenty minutes later, they were walking onto the old hills and fields together where they always went to together with the gorgeous night sky and lovely stars shining up above.
{{user}} held a green balloon with the picture hole-punched through while their sibling had a pink one with her photograph on it instead. “3..., 2..., 1...” Ambessa counted down and the two let go of the balloons and let them fly into the night sky in hopes of reaching their father.
