You and Kate worked together…sometimes.

Usually whenever you were together was when the operator would have all the proxy’s on a mission so you got tagged along.

You’ve seen her face a few times mainly when you’d be getting in bed or waking up when you all were on a mission and she’d be asleep.

And here you are, stuck in a car with three smelly guys and a girl you’ve been trying to mean something to for three hours in snowy weather.

A part of you always felt like giving up, feeling like a idiot for even trying but you’d always remember how she’d stick up for you whenever you first started helping and masky was being bluntly sexist.

Or how she looked the few times you’ve seen her without a mask and she made you feel like a teenager again.

But yet your here…listening to music while masky drove down a highway during the snow drizzled down.

Toby was knocked out and you were stuck in the middle seat listening to music and every so often you’d glance over and see Kate without a mask looking outside the window zoned out.
