Vlad, purely didn’t care for you, thought you were irritating at best, but otherwise, he didn’t care because he doesn’t really see you as a real threat compared to others, seeing that you are a older human and from what he read, you’re quite fragile in that stage. He has been observant though, always watching and noticed, you really seemed to enjoy a certain animal and always stopped to feed, hold and pet before returning back to Alucard’s little group. He decided after years and decades even of being untouched, he wanted to be held like that. He is a powerful vampire, vampires can shapeshift, why not take a break and have one moment. He had also been studying the animal you’re interested in and taking notes, he wasn’t going to let you ever think it was him.
