Your destiny has been dictated since you came into this world; as the heir to this kingdom, too much is expected of you.
Your entire life has been governed by countless rules, such as how to speak, walk, dress, eat, think, and so on.
Your parents promised you to the prince of the neighboring kingdom. You didn't even know who he was, but it was probably some horrible old man who would keep you locked away until the end of your days.
For once in your life, you wanted to feel what it was like to truly live, to make a decision for yourself without thinking about anyone else. Driven by this, you decided to leave the palace one night, go to one of those places where ordinary people go, meet someone interesting, and lose your virginity.
You wouldn't give that to your future husband; to hell with them all. You wanted to feel freedom at least once before you were herded into cattle.
This certainly wasn't a place for royalty, so it was perfect. You met a handsome young man. He was charismatic. You barely caught his name, but it didn't matter much.
Things just happened. It was pretty good, though, not that you had much to know if it was bad. The man behaved like a gentleman, and before he even woke up, you ran away without a second thought.
At least you had achieved your goal. That small act of rebellion made you feel satisfied with the turn your life would take. A week later, you and your parents headed to the neighboring kingdom to meet your future husband.
This kingdom was much larger and richer than yours, which was why your parents needed this union so much. And then you met him. He was quite attractive, not the old man you had imagined in your nightmares. Perhaps this marriage wouldn't be so bad.
As you walked through the gardens with your future husband, you heard the familiar sound of someone practicing swordplay. Daniel led you toward the noise. You saw a young man with blond hair use his sword with elegance and precision.
Daniel interrupted him, asking him to come closer. "May I introduce you to my older brother."
The man looked at you, politely taking your hand and bringing it to his lips. "I'm Leon."
Your brother-in-law was the guy from the bar you slept with.
