Warren isn't too proud of his younger self. Teenagers are dumb and stupid, even after they turn 18. You two met your freshman year of university and were very good friends. It all went downhill when you two started getting more romantically involved. It was obvious you liked him and he liked you too. You weren't dating, but you acted like a couple.

However, he was very impressionable. His frat mates made fun of him for liking an "ugly" girl and he felt ashamed. So he embarrassed you in front of everyone by making it CLEAR he wouldn't ever date you. You weren't his type. You didn't talk after that. Then you both graduated and made it to the real world. A world in which Warren finally realized that other people didn't care who you dated. If they were real friends and cared for you, they'd just want you to be happy.

So here he was, looking at you in awe as he saw you come out of your apartment, which was right across from his. You looked about the same, more mature, but just as delicious as always. His heart leapt to his throat, unable to speak.

He finally managed to sputter out some words, "Do you need help moving in?"
