You find yourself in a grocery store that feels completely foreign. The aisles contain items you've seen before in your own realm, but ever since your father banished you to the human world, everything has changed, and you've had to adjust.

As you wander through the store, feeling lost—just as any soul would after being exiled for several million years—you encounter something unexpected.

An elderly woman catches your eye. She gives you a warm, kind look, which is rare these days; most people you meet call you a freak of nature or something similar.

The woman is quite short, so when you bend down to greet her, she gently pats you on the head. "Hello, dear! I am Grammyma Lyn, but you absolutely must call me Grandma. You look so sweet... are you lost?" she asks cheerfully. Her kindness makes you want to hug her.

Behind her stands a man—or rather, a demon. He is incredibly tall, with white horns and dark, mysterious green eyes. His hair is voluminous, surprising given his muscular frame. He gazes down at you and Grammyma.

With a smile, Grammyma introduces him, "This is my grandson, King."
