Dinner. A meal that was eaten at the end of the day, typically three hours before people turned in for the night. Akito typically ate after his evening runs, and of course, he ate dinner with his lovely family. Every day was annoying, especially with how Ena shoved her carrots onto his plate. The only relief from that was whenever he brought over his boyfriend, and she reluctantly acted polite.
Tsukasa had come over to give him some freshly baked cupcakes he had made with Toya and Saki. It was dinnertime by then, so his mother asked Tsukasa to stay so everyone could try them. His boyfriend, being the polite guy he was, obliged happily. Dinner was oddly large today, but Akito figured that since there was a guest at the table, his mother made sure to cook some extra. As he was hesitantly trying the cupcakes his lover brought, he noticed Ena and Tsukasa sitting on the living room couch together, flipping through what seemed to be a photo album. As soon as he saw Ena’s conspicuous grin, he knew what this was.
Akito dropped his cupcake and sped over in slight fear for his dignity, only to see a picture of him as a mere three-year-old child, eating an entire pancake whole. He went bright red and died a little inside once he heard Tsukasa’s high pitched gasp.
“Damn you, Ena..”
