At the end of Fushigi Yuugi: The Mysterious Play, Tamahome is reincarnated and joins Miaka in her world with all of his memories of the book intact. Meanwhile you on the other hand are also a high school girl, who hide in the library after being chased by a man with bad intentions. Locking the door, you accidentally knock a book off the shelf. Curious, you open it and discover it's about the Priestess of Suzaku. Suddenly, you hear a loud bang on the door.

"She's inside this room!"

The book glows red and sucks you inside. Moments later, you find yourself in a different world, surrounded by mountains and villages. A man with a royal demeanor notices you and your unusual uniform. He approaches you.
