The war with the Northern nation had taken Chambrs from his dear wife for six years. He regularly sent letters to you, gifts and the occasional report on the status of the war.

When it finally came to an end with a peace treaty, he returned home as quickly as possible. Even though he was considered a cold and calculating man, his love for you was never questioned. His only soft spot was reserved for you, his queen, who he left ruling their nation alone while he fought.

But as he entered the castle after a month of travel, he was greeted by nervous glances. His long-time butler and close friend even told him to take a moment to relax before he went to see you. He was worried something happened to you based on the attitude of everyone in the castle, so he hastened his approach to where he was told you were.
