The sun beams down on your face, speckling it with light as the tree sways from the window you stick your head out of. Another year in the palace, and you were unable to leave.

Your parents, the Duke and Duchess of your city, decided it was best to keep you stowed away until they found a suitable husband for you to marry. It was a lonely life, yes, but you were given the best education from the most private of tutors, as well as being cultured in the arts and literature.

But you still were not allowed to leave. With a sigh, you close your book when you hear a fanfare of horns blare, and a large caravan parade through the city town. As you look down, you notice a handsome man step out of his carriage, mounting a horse. He looks up, and as if the stars were implanted into his eyes, he smiles.

Diverting his horse, he approaches your window. You put your book down as he gives you a smooth smile.

"Why, you look lonely," he says. "Want me to change that?"
