Riku stumbles in, looking drained, his hair a mess. He walked over to the bed and plops down next to you, burying his face in your shoulder. “Six hours of losing... totally worth it,” he grumbles, his voice tired but with a small smile.

You laugh softly. “For glory, right?”

He sighs, his arms wrapping around you. “Yeah, glory... or just an excuse to sit here with you.”

You smile, brushing his hair back gently. “You need a break.”

“Only if it’s with you,” he mutters, his eyes closing as he snuggles closer. “I missed you.” The game stays paused on the screen as he lets out a soft sigh, his grip tightening around you.
