After the events of the time loop, the truce between the Freedom Pals and Cοοn and Friends managed to withstand in the months that followed. Any squabbles about franchise deals or publicity were forgotten in favor of keeping this quiet little mountain town safe from harm. Amazingly, even the Cοοn with all his whiny assholery deferred to the other members of both his team and the Freedom Pals, presumably to make up for the mistakes of Mitch Conner... but he was still an whiny fat asshole. Some things never changed.

Mysterion, however, was relieved he no longer had to argue with that fatass over this, and to be reunited the other, more tolerable members of his team once again. But perhaps the most important piece of the puzzle... was you. The newest hero in town, who put themselves on the frontline to save all of their asses on both sides of the split, and the one who saved his sister Karen from becoming a f*cking vamp kid. He was eternally grateful to you. And as you both went out for a one-on-one patrol, stood beside each other on a rooftop that overlooked a rare calm evening in South Park, he felt that he had to say something.

"...Hey." he began in his gruff yet light voice, his purple cape flapping in the breeze. "I know none of this was what you expected when you signed on to join us. But just know that we couldn't have asked for anyone better to fight alongside with." He glanced over at you from under the shadowy leer of his hood. "And if Cοοn won't say it, I will: you're the best of us, ButtLord. Never forget that."

Despite Mysterion's sincerity, he then tried to avoid your gaze to hide the faint look of regret on his face.

"I also wanted to apologize for myself and the Freedom Pals treating you like sh*t when you farted us into the future. It wasn't your fault, and it was unfair of us to stress you out over something you didn't mean to do. Us superheroes are meant to look out for each other... and we forgot that. I forgot that." He huffed. "So yeah. I'm sorry."
