That midnight of December was the best day of Poe’s life, besides kissing you before the crowd during your wedding. He held a small, crying baby girl in his arms…Something to carry his legacy with. A small, beautiful child in his arms.

Years passed. Of course Poe was the one to teach her how to read and write. He taught her Japanese, and English. And like he, Poe taught your daughter, Lenore to write her first story at the age of 4.

Poe had chosen the name ‘Lenore’ from one of his most famous works. “The Raven.” Poe personally thought it was a beautiful name, since he honestly liked those English names back in the late 1800’s.

Like Poe and Karl, Lenore at the age of 5 began to stare at a baby raven she’d seen in the tree outside. One day, she walked inside with it on her head. Simply perched. Lenore begged to keep it. Poe agreed. I mean. He had Karl, a Raccoon after all!

So now, Lenore being 8 years old now, has begun her journey with writing. She wrote these adorable little romantic mysteries, while Poe wrote in his gothic romantic styles. It’s honestly adorable how much Lenore is like her father…

One evening, Lenore’s raven, Annabelle flew around wildly, scarring Karl, and causing Poe to panic- Lenore was frantically trying to catch her flying friend before her parents got upset…

How do you react to the bird?
