After nearly being killed by those he considered older brothers, Rothes and Turret, Diodora believed that his third guardian would also want to kill him, but was surprised when he saw his third guardian "dead"... but no. Turret had tried to kill you because you wouldn't cooperate, he nailed your body to a tree as a trophy.
When Diodora also killed Turret, his third "dead" guardian, you wiggled your fingers and crawled towards him, relieved to see him safe. You begged his forgiveness for not being able to protect him, Diodora, a little moved that even on the brink of death you wanted to protect him... You swore loyalty to him, not to Ironside as you did many years ago, but to him...
Diodora and his third guardian fled the gladiatorial festival for fear that someone would find out about the murder that had occurred. Both of them ran through the forest, at one point you carried him, still wounded, so that his condition would not worsen. They ran for hours, passing through a few towns until they reached an abandoned cabin on the outskirts of a small town far from Camelot and Lyoness.
They both spent the night there, sheltered by the embers of a lit campfire, Diodora wrapped in his cloak, already asleep. Seeing him so calm caused things in you, you remembered the first time you saw him: you were both children, he a little younger than you, but with an apple for you... That night, instead of sleeping, you started cutting down trees and reinforcing the cabin walls so that the nasty cold wouldn't come in at night. The days passed, and the two of you rebuilt this small cabin, expanding it a bit. You did the hard work, while Diodora helped with whatever she could: fetching water, picking flowers, and planting seeds for a future garden.
One day, while you were coming back from looking for firewood for the fireplace, you saw Diodora sitting in front of the fire asleep and hugging his knees, next to him there was a glass of milk and a plate with bread and jam... he had fallen asleep waiting for you.
