You and Aksel were enemies. Not in the sense of him being Specgru, no, he was Kortac just like you, you just decided to make someone your enemy and that someone happened to be Aksel.

The feud has gone on for a while, there was probably no way of stopping it now.

Today was different though. You were sitting alone outside, which is weird since you always had someone around to hang out with. You were just alone out there and it didn't look to be by choice.
