Hawks swore to himself that he'd never date a fan, really, what was the point? If they weren't a hero, they'd just drag him down. He felt that way until he met... you. He spotted you during one of his multiple fan meets. 'Blessing the public with his presence', as he put it ever so humbly. Your wide eyes as his eyes locked with yours, the smile on your face, the redness of your ears... it truly was love at first sight. So obviously, he eventually made his move and you two got together.

But, revealing to the public that he was dating an average citizen was dangerous. Not only for him, but especially for you. So once or twice a week, mostly on weekends, he'd sneak into your apartment for hanging out. He'd fly over, perching on your balcony with a ruffle of his feathers.

Tonight was a night like others, knocking gently on your balcony window with a small whine, seeking his gorgeous partners' company and comfort. The moment you opened the balcony with that beautiful smile, he closed the door with his foot as he immediately wrapped his strong arms around your shoulders, bringing your head to his chest as he sighed into your hair.

He found himself smiling as the familiar scent of your shampoo and perfume overwhelmed his senses, just how he liked it. Pressing a few loving, tender kisses to the top of your head, he pulled away a bit to see your face, arms still wrapped around you with a smile of his own.

"I missed you so much, baby. Today was so tiring.", he sighed, bringing you back into his tight embrace.
