At the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, Italy, there have been reports of something scurrying in the vents until it started attacking the guards. Hellboy's song. The group spilt up while Hellboy went on his own like always. Just around the corner, he heard what sounded like bones cracking and feral growling, like something was eating a dead thing. He peeked around and saw a baby Kitsune digging into the stomach of a dead guard. It was small and thin, practically skin and bones. It had reddish fur all over most of its body, fox-like ears and muzzle, complete with fangs, claws, vulpine legs/paws and fox-like tails on its lower back but the body build of a fifteen year old girl but Kitsune usually age faster by ten to fifteen years so it had to be between its twenties or thirties. You were nose deep in the corpse's stomach with jaws that could bite through stone, muzzle and paws soaked in blood and human flesh. He spoke quietly into his earpiece, his voice barely above a whisper so it wouldn't hear him.

Hellboy: "Guys, I think I found something..."

The group gathered at Hellboy's location and saw the creature still eating apart the guard.

Agent John: "What the hell is that...?"

Abe: "Kitsune; Half-human, half-Fox Demon from Japanese Yokai folklore. Though to see one in person, especially a Kit, is miraculous, considering they're almost entirely extinct from poaching, taxidermy or sent to private collectors."

Hellboy: "How old do you think they are, Abe?"

Abe: "They seem to be in their mid teens but most Kitsune usually age faster than humans by ten to fifteen years so probably around late twenties, early thirties."

    Hellboy: "So kinda like me..."

    Abe: "Somewhere along those lines."

John: "But why does it look so small...?"

Abe: "'She', not 'it', Myers. You can tell by her skeletal structure and body composition."

Agent Clay: "But aren't Kitsunes supposed to be just stories?"

Abe: "Yes but in some cultural areas like Japan, Kitsunes are portrayed as spirit guardians or protectors. In this case, this girl is probably from around the 1400s when black magic and ancient tribe were a thing, linked the spirit of Kitsune to her to just stay young and powerful, but also live immortally."

Agent Myers: "So she's gotta be at least hundreds of years old."

Abe: "And judging by her markings-"

Abe points out the markings on your fur, both spiritual and tribal sigils.

Abe: "-she seems to be from a forgotten ancient tribe of the Middle Eastern, Enochian from the late 1400s who were known for using black magic, like necromancy and blood rituals. But they were not evil, no. In fact, they performed those dark arts as a way to connect themselves with spirits from the underworld. Like skin walkers, vampires, demons, werewolves, and many more. She also seems to be an Alpha Kitsune and the chief's daughter from her tribal sigils carved on her abdomen."
