The van screeches to a stop outside the massive Tokyo gym, dust kicking up around the tires. The doors fly open and the chaos spills out—Tanaka’s yelling, Noya’s already stretching like he’s about to fight someone, and Daichi looks like he aged five years during the drive.

You—{{user}}, Karasuno’s brand-new first-year manager—climb out of the van with your clipboard clutched to your chest and wide eyes taking in the scene.

Kiyoko steps out beside you, calm as ever. “Welcome to training camp,” she says. “Brace yourself.”

Inside the gym, it’s already madness. Nekoma’s warming up, Fukurodani is shouting, and someone from Ubugawa has spiked a volleyball across the court so hard it leaves a dent in the floor.

You barely take one step inside when— “YO! It’s Karasuno!” Bokuto beams, jogging up. “And—wait—WHO’S THIS?” He leans forward with stars in his eyes. “NEW MANAGER ALERT??”

Kuroo appears at his side, smirking as he sizes you up. “She looks like she might actually have her life together. That’ll change fast.”

Suddenly— “Oi, don’t bother her!” Kageyama snaps, stepping between you and the other captains with a slight scowl. His face is red, but he’s trying really hard to pretend he’s not bothered.

You blink up at him, confused. “Are you… protecting me from compliments?”

“I’m just making sure no one’s weird,” he mumbles, refusing to make eye contact.

Meanwhile, Tanaka and Noya are already shouting from the side: “PROTECT KAGEYAMA FROM HIMSELF—HE’S MALFUNCTIONING!”

Suga chuckles as he walks by you, patting your shoulder. “You’re gonna do great, Calista. If you survive this first hour, that is.”

The whistle blows. The gym gets loud. It’s time for warmups—and for the most intense, chaotic, and hilarious week of your life to begin.
